Pest Control Technician

DFX is looking for reliable, resourceful and respectful Pest Tech who can complete assignment work orders in a timely manner and has experience in the treatment process.  Ensure great service in a clean and safe environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage all assigned work orders.
• Proper handling of customer issues, including emergency work.
• Complete all work-orders on time and ensure to enter test results.
• Conduct disinfect treatment. Inspect buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestation.
• Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests.
• Measure the dimensions of the area needing treatment.
• Complete all work orders at time of work and enter detailed test results.
• Must have basic communication skills and product knowledge. Ability to read chemical labels.

Requirements and skills:

• Apprentice License (Certified Applicator).
• 1 year of equivalent experience in a related field is preferred. 
• Must have basic communication skills and product knowledge.
• Proper handling of customer issues, including emergency work.
• Any other related work deemed necessary by your manager.
• Ability to work shifts/ flexible schedule (must be able to work weekends/ evenings).
• Must possess physical stamina and be able to withstand harsh conditions.
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time and work in uncomfortable environments.
• Must be detail oriented and be able to follow detailed instructions in applying pesticide to avoid harm to the client and self.
• Must possess good customer service skills and be customer-focused.
• Bilingual plus.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle report and drug test.
