HVAC Tech
DFX is looking for reliable, resourceful and respectful HVAC Tech who can complete assignment work orders in a timely manner and has experience in repairing HVAC and other air quality systems for various businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Removing and installing systems
- Performing routine maintenance
- Communicating with clients
- Ordering and maintaining equipment
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Run pipe and duct systems
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
Requirements and skills:
- 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician.
- HVAC License
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
- Working knowledge of boiler systems.
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- Ability to work shifts and flexible schedule (must be able to work weekend/ evenings)
- Bilingual is a PLUS
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
